Performance Information

An eight-time Grammy nominee, celebrated jazz artist Tierney Sutton has received seven consecutive nominations for Best Jazz Vocal Album — a nomination for every project she has released for the last decade. Hailed for her reimaginings of the Great American Songbook and her sparkling vocals, she headlines at top venues such as The Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center and Jazz at Lincoln Center.

With an acclaimed career spanning 20 years and nine albums, Sutton and her gifted Tierney Sutton Band tour the world. The group functions as a collaborative songwriting and arranging unit, including working with Clint Eastwood to score the original music for Eastwood’s feature film Sully, starring Tom Hanks and Laura Linney.

The band’s instrumental virtuosos include: bassist Kevin Axt, who has played on the soundtracks of hit feature films The Greatest Showman, La La Land and Crazy Rich Asians; drummer Ray Brinker, who also performs as a member of Grammy-winning Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band; bassist Trey Henry, who has performed on the Academy Awards, the Emmy Awards and with leading ensembles such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic and The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra; and pianist Christian Jacob, who served as music director for Broadway legend Betty Buckley and has performed worldwide, including with the king of Thailand.

Enjoy a lively evening with this group of masterful artists as they deliver artfully reconceived standards and jazz melodies.
