Teaching Artist Work Opportunities at The Smith Center

Are you looking for new ways to put your talent to good use and make a difference in your community? The Smith Center Education and Outreach department is currently seeking enthusiastic artists with expertise in performing arts disciplines who have experience working with young people in Pre-K – 12th grade classrooms and other related settings.

Smith Center teaching artists are at the heart of our arts education programming as they bring a diverse range of arts expertise and creative approaches to help us impact thousands of students and teachers each year. Typically hailing from extensive careers in dance, theater, vocal and instrumental music and storytelling, our teaching artists apply their creative skills in educational settings to help us bring to life the richness of the performing arts while also adding another dimension to their respective professional careers.
