& Juliet, the touring Broadway musical coming to The Smith Center from June 24-29, reimagines William Shakespeare’s classic Romeo and Juliet. What if Juliet had not only survived but thrived, finding new relationships and experiencing new adventures?
Sounds fun, right? It gets even better. The jukebox musical is filled with songs you know by heart, originally sung by the likes of Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Backstreet Boys. The common thread? All of the show’s famous tunes were born in the mind of one Max Martin, the Swedish songwriter The New York Times called “Pop’s Low-Key Mastermind.”
