We all make online purchases on a regular basis, including tickets for your favorite upcoming performance. The Smith Center remains committed to keeping our consumers safe when they do so, and responding to the continually changing landscape of online security is one of our top priorities. To that end, we’d like to let you know about some new security measures we are taking – and to remind you about the safest way to purchase online from The Smith Center.

Enhanced Security Protocols. We’re implementing stricter online security measures involving verification when you complete a transaction with The Smith Center. This will help better distinguish valid transactions from suspicious or fraudulent ones, keeping your purchase safe and secure. It’s likely you won’t even notice a change – these additional verifications usually occur behind the scenes. From time to time, however, you might be asked for two-factor authentication from your bank as you enter your credit card online as a way of verifying your purchase.

New Password Protocols. New users and those resetting passwords will encounter stronger password requirements when purchasing Smith Center tickets or accessing digital tickets via our mobile wallet. While stronger password requirements can sometimes feel tedious, such enhanced security measures are for your protection.

Buy From the Trusted Source. Buying from TheSmithCenter.com – the only official source for tickets to all our shows – guarantees the authenticity of your tickets. Buying from brokers and third-party websites increases your risk, since The Smith Center cannot guarantee those tickets are valid.
