The Smith Center’s programming department continues to garner accolades.
Lindsey Jamieson Gilbert, Senior Manager of Programming, was named to Vegas Inc’s 2025 40 Under 40 on March 27, joining other local honorees in that week’s cover feature of Las Vegas Weekly and at an event celebrating all 40 local luminaries at the Sahara Theater.
Gilbert’s selection for the prestigious honor comes one year after Christa Brown, The Smith Center’s Director of Programming, was named to the 2024 40 Under 40 list.
The 2025 issue’s piece about Gilbert, 37, who joined The Smith Center team in 2021, explained that she “finds joy in working with artists that have inspired her throughout her life and with new artists who will influence future generations. She has a strategic eye for the kinds of shows guests want to see and a deep understanding of management, operations and contracts.”
The story also highlighted Gilbert’s community efforts. “As a breast cancer survivor and former pageant queen, she currently volunteers as the Nevada State Leader for the Young Survival Coalition, advocating for breast cancer patients. From 2018-2024, she served as the President of the Board of Directors for the Miss Nevada Scholarship Organization, dedicated to educating young women,” the article summarized.
“I’m very honored to have been included alongside so many incredible Las Vegans for this year’s 40 Under 40 Awards,” Gilbert says. “I love being part of The Smith Center’s amazing, hard-working team, and I’m looking forward to carrying on our mission of delivering culture, entertainment and educational opportunities to the local community.”
Please join The Smith Center in congratulating Lindsey Jamieson Gilbert and the rest of this year’s 40 Under 40 honorees.
