Along with its classic, tried-and-true programming – Broadway shows, classical and dance performances, touring headliners and more – The Smith Center is always looking for new experiences to present to its audiences. Enter Epic Movie Nights.
For the past few years, the big screen above Reynolds Hall’s stage has welcomed beloved films like Dirty Dancing, Ghostbusters, Labyrinth and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse … with a notable twist. As the movie runs onscreen, live musicians ramp up the excitement by performing songs and score material in real time.
Simply put, it’s the best way to rewatch your favorite films – or catch a must-see movie for the very first time. In the coming months, The Smith Center will offer several opportunities to do just that.
