Suzanne Chabre

Vice President and Chief Experience Officer

As the Vice President and Chief Experience Officer, Suzanne Chabre serves as the voice of Smith Center patrons across all organizational touchpoints. This includes overseeing front-of-house guest interactions, marketing, and all circumstances in which Smith Center guests interface with technology. She also leads the development of additional strategies to combine guest experience, employee engagement and technology.

Suzanne was part of the original leadership team that oversaw the opening of The Smith Center in March 2012, in which capacity she helped bring the vision for the building to life and developed marketing and sales strategies to build an audience.

Today Suzanne continues to be responsible for building the Smith Center brand, promoting all performances and events, and supporting education and development initiatives. She also oversees the areas of advertising, public relations, database and digital marketing, marketing analytics, group sales, and corporate sponsorships.

Upon graduating from Arizona State University with a BS degree in marketing and an MBA, Suzanne began her marketing career in the automotive industry working for Volkswagen of America and Porsche Cars North America.

Suzanne left the automotive industry and returned home to Las Vegas where she began her career in gaming. As a marketing executive for Grand Casinos, Caesars’ Entertainment, City Center and Pinnacle Entertainment, she gained extensive experience driving sales and marketing at the corporate and regional levels for both start-ups and established entertainment-based resorts across the country. Throughout her gaming career, Suzanne was also responsible for marketing entertainment and theater operations, to include Donn Arden's Jubilee! and all productions in the Paris Las Vegas showroom.

Suzanne grew up in Las Vegas and has served as the president of the Las Vegas chapter of the American Association of University Women as well as on the board of the American Marketing Association and Junior Mesquite. Committed to education, Suzanne has been active in Junior Achievement, the Learning Center of Minneapolis, Big Sisters, and has also taught advertising management at UNLV. She has received the Chamber of Commerce Tourism Award for community service and contributions to the tourism industry, the Woman of Achievement Award, the UNLV Mentor Award and was named one of the 100 Most Influential Women of Nevada.
