Concerto Barocco, set to Bach’s Concerto in D Minor for Two Violins is one of George Balanchine’s greatest ballets. Often described as music made visible, Balanchine’s brilliant, eloquent movement exquisitely personifies the virtuosic energy of the instruments themselves.

NBT is thrilled to present a dynamic World Premiere, Ghost Light (Ripples in the fabric of existence), by the creative duo of A & A, Alexis Ochin and Arnaud Boursain. Described as a poetic expression of the eternal dance between science and art, Ghost Light draws its inspiration from mankind’s ceaseless quest for understanding. With artistic credits that span worldwide, A & A have performed, collaborated, and provided artistic direction for companies, productions, and television shows including Cirque du Soleil, One Night for One Drop and So You Think You Can Dance, as well as leading brands like Louis Vuitton, Samsung, and more. Las Vegas audiences may remember their work from the decade-long collaboration between NBT and Cirque du Soleil, A Choreographers’ Showcase. Enjoy these two cutting-edge artists in this never-before-seen original work for the company.

Jerome Robbins’ The Concert is a delightfully comic send-up of an all-Chopin recital where a cast of quirky attendees allow their minds to wander, revealing their imaginative secret fantasies. The laugh-out-loud antics of these eccentric characters make for a genuine crowd-pleaser while delivering remarkable insight into the imperfections of human relationships, and the foibles and insecurities within us all.

As a courtesy to our ticket holders, no children under 5 years of age are admitted to this performance. All guests entering the theater, regardless of age, must have a ticket. No babes in arms.
