Performance Information

The Las Vegas Academy of the Arts Band, Vocal and Orchestra departments join forces for a powerful night of music, sharing the stage with New York-based violinist Yen-Ling Chen, Cirque Du Soleil performer Tymara Walker and the Epoch Percussion Quartet, performing "Re(new)al" by composer Viet Cuong. This inspiring concert will feature over 230 talented students in LVA's 12-time Grammy winning Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Chorus and Philharmonic Orchestra featuring "Kyrie" from Memorial by Rene Clausen - composed in honor of the victims of 9/11, "Gloria" from Mass: A Celebration of Love and Joy by Andre Thomas - composed for the 2015 ACDA Honor Choir, and "Homeward Bound" - a beloved song written by Las Vegas native, composer and educator Marta Keen.
