The only Hawaiian artist to win Regional Roots Grammy Awards, his peers in Hawai‘i have honored him with 8 Na Hoku Awards (Hawai‘i’s music awards), including the coveted Male Vocalist of the Year. The first (and only) Hawaiian performer presented at the sold-out Lincoln Center's American Songbook in New York and then at Carnegie Hall’s Musical Explorers program. Pe‘a also performs annually at Hawai‘i’s prestigious Merrie Monarch Festival.
