Ticket and Venue Policies
Thank you for your patronage of The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Please note the following terms and conditions for your ticket purchase, plus our venue’s policies.
General Ticketing Information

All ticket sales are final – No refunds, changes, or retroactive discounts for any reason, including inclement weather or missing your performance date.

Ticket exchanges are only available to season ticket holders, must be to another performance of the same event, and must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Ticket exchanges can be made online at The Smith Center's website’s “My Upcoming Performances” page or by calling 702-749-2000.

Our standard ticket limit is eight (8) tickets per patron or household. A different ticket limit may apply to certain events, offers, or promotions and may be displayed or applied during the purchase process.

Orders found to exceed the applicable ticket limit will be denied or canceled. This includes multiple or related orders associated with the same account, name, email address, billing address, credit card, phone number, household, or other identifying information.

To help protect fair access to tickets, The Smith Center reviews orders for compliance with its ticket policies, including policies related to ticket limits, unauthorized resale, fraudulent activity, and other prohibited purchasing activity. Orders found to be in violation of these policies will be canceled without notice.

The official website for ticket purchases is TheSmithCenter.com. To protect against unfair price gouging, we reserve the right to cancel admission for tickets that were resold by an outside party at a higher price.

The Smith Center reserves the right to cancel ticket orders at its sole discretion.

In-person ticket sales are through our official box office only. All other sales are prohibited. If a ticket is resold at a price higher than face value, it may be seized and canceled without a refund.

The Smith Center reserves the right to limit or restrict phone sales for newly established accounts.

A ticket presented and used for admission cannot be used again.

Tickets purchased with credit cards are subject to approval and verification of billing addresses. Your credit card company may place a hold on your funds for payment. If declined, your credit card company may take three to 10 business days to release those funds.

All pricing is subject to change without notice, and prices are not guaranteed.

A ticket is a one-time revocable license to attend an event.

All ticket purchases require a valid email address. By purchasing a ticket, The Smith Center reserves the right to email you any necessary information regarding attendance and parking alerts, amongst other important communications.

VIP packages are non-transferable and can not be shared.
Attendees Under 18
-
Children aged 5 and up with a ticket can attend performances at The Smith Center. All patrons must have their own ticket, regardless of age.

Based on the performance, children under the age of 5 may attend (e.g., family friendly programming) but will require a ticket. Please refer to the individual event page for any exceptions to the under five age requirement to determine if children under five may attend.

Patrons ages 16 and 17 may attend a performance without an accompanying adult if they have their parent or guardian’s permission.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies

Artists, programs, and dates are subject to change.

If a performance is cancelled or rescheduled, you may choose to accept the new performance date, obtain a refund, donate the tickets back to The Smith Center, or keep the funds as a credit on your Smith Center account for future use. Any expenses incurred for transportation, lodging, meals, etc., will be the sole responsibility of the patron.
Third-Party Ticket Purchases

Tickets for events at The Smith Center that are purchased through third-party processors or external vendors are subject to the privacy, security, and data processing policies of such third parties. The Smith Center is not responsible for the collection, use, disclosure, or safeguarding of personal information by such vendors. Without limitation, this includes tickets purchased through Victory Live and its affiliates, which are governed by their applicable data processing addendum, available at: https://www.victorylive.com/dpa/
Health & Safety

Ticket holders must abide by health/safety procedures and attendance guidelines outlined on our “Safety and Security” webpage. There may be exceptions or changes if touring shows add their own COVID-safety protocols. Please check back prior to the date of a performance for the latest health and safety protocols. Refunds will not be given if these entrance requirements are not met by the performance attendee.
Venue Policies

Photo Policy: Photography or recording of any kind is strictly prohibited. While certain productions/artists may occasionally allow cell phone photos, professional cameras (any camera with removable lenses) as well as flash photography, selfie sticks, and tripods are not allowed. Taking photos and/or videos can be dangerous for performers and can violate copyrights. We reserve the right to confiscate any camera devices used in the theaters. Members of the media should refer to our media rules. All artist/media requests must be approved 72 hours in advance by the press office.

Recording devices, weapons, and outside food or beverages are not permitted in our theaters.

Taking photos and/or videos can be dangerous for performers and can violate copyrights. We reserve the right to confiscate any camera devices used in the theaters.

Each individual show’s producer or artist determines the seating policy for late patrons. In some instances, if you arrive after the show begins, you may be asked to wait until there is a natural break in the performance before being seated. There may be instances where no late seating is allowed.

Stay in your assigned ticketed seat and be prepared to show the usher your ticket upon request.

The venue is a non-smoking venue to include e-cigarettes, tobacco, or marijuana products. Smoking areas are located outside the building.

While the Myron's venue serves alcohol as part of the food and beverage experience, it is not exclusively a 21+ venue. Myron's venue follows the same age guidelines as other venues at The Smith Center (see ticketing policies).

Please refrain from leaning or placing belongings on the railings.

Although The Smith Center does not have a set dress code, a shirt and shoes are always required.
Disorderly Conduct
Guests who engage in disorderly conduct or any other behavior deemed detrimental to the experience of other guests may be asked to leave the venue. Patrons who are asked to leave may not receive a refund or be compensated in any way for their loss. Disorderly conduct may include—but is not limited to—the following:

Intentionally blocking the view of other patrons by standing on chairs or placing children on their shoulders

Drunk and disorderly conduct, including underage drinking

Fighting or challenging others to a fight

Use of profanity and/or offensive words that could provoke a negative reaction from other patrons, staff, or artists

Throwing, discharging, or launching any objects or liquids
-
Igniting and display of flames (e.g., lighters, matches)

Attempting to enter the performance areas without official credentials

Interference with or delay of the event
