Renowned singer Jonathan Karrant brings you a delightful evening celebrating some of the most beloved holiday songs of all time on Tuesday, December 15, in Myron's at The Smith Center. Jonathan's acclaimed holiday album, Christmas Wish, features Grammy-winning jazz legend Diane Schuur as well as distinguished artists Kenny Rampton, Joe Alterman and Houston Person. Jonathan will be performing some song selections from the album and share some of his favorite Christmas memories. Special guests will join him on stage for some highlighted moments, as well as students of the Jazz Outreach community program. Jonathan doesn't cover songs, he uncovers them. The evening will leave you filled with the holiday spirit.
Jonathan Karrant's album, On and On, hit No. 4 on the Billboard Jazz charts and his album Live hit No. 2 on the iTunes Jazz Charts. Named one of Downbeat's top 10 rising vocalists, he has collaborated with such artists as Diane Schuur, Jane Monheit and Houston Person.
