The Sister Moon Project: Celebrating the music of Sting & The Police

The Sister Moon Project is a dynamic six-piece ensemble featuring some of today’s most celebrated and world-renowned musicians, reimagining the timeless music of Sting and The Police through a fresh and electrifying contemporary jazz lens. At the heart of the project is internationally acclaimed jazz saxophonist Grace Kelly, whose virtuosic playing and genre-defying artistry have captivated audiences across the globe, alongside internationally touring vocalist Chrissi Poland, known for her soulful voice, magnetic stage presence and stylistic versatility.

They are joined by the award-winning Christian Tamburr Quartet, led by vibraphonist, arranger and musical director Christian Tamburr, whose ensemble brings a refined, rhythmic sophistication and deep musical chemistry to the performance. From the driving rhythms of The Police to the lyrical beauty of Sting’s solo catalog, The Sister Moon Project delivers a captivating live experience that illuminates the depth, groove and poetry of one of the most influential songbooks of our time—bridging generations of listeners through innovation, virtuosity and the unifying power of live music.

The program features imaginative, jazz-driven arrangements of iconic songs from Sting and The Police, including “Roxanne,” “Sister Moon,” “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” “Fragile,” “Englishman in New York,” “Fields of Gold,” “Walking on the Moon” and “King of Pain,” among others. Each selection is thoughtfully reinterpreted to highlight the group’s dynamic interplay, blending groove, improvisation and rich harmonic textures while honoring the essence of these timeless classics.
