In the absence of face-to-face engagement with audiences due to the pandemic, The Smith Center recently launched a series of public service announcements (PSAs) designed to reinforce the value of the performing arts and to continue driving visitors to The Smith Center website for updates on future performances.

When Nevada schools closed due to the pandemic, early childhood educator Elizabeth Steffen felt strongly about engaging and stimulating her students from afar. She found her solution with both technology and the arts.

Performances and Artists
While Vegas headliner Frankie Moreno remains homebound with the rest of Nevada during the pandemic, that won’t stop his music. A regular performer at the 240-seat Myron’s Cabaret Jazz club at The Smith Center, Moreno continues to write and release new songs every week from his home studio.
